From 1996 to 1998, he worked for MEAG (RWE Group), and from 2001 to 2008, as CFO of Memorex Telex Communication AG (later Invitel), Vösendorf, Austria, he was responsible for real estate transactions in Austria, Hungary, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Romania. He has been offering his expertise as an independent management consultant since 2009.

From 2009 to 2016, he was CEO of Budlex S.A., a successful Polish project development company. Prior to that, he worked for Bilfinger in Germany and Poland for over 10 years.
